The great city of Macau and one of the major gambling company have reached an agreement which will allow the company to build a casino resort and shopping district, has been announced.
In return for prime real estate in the heart of the gambling-mad city of Macau, the firm has agreed to part with 1.55 billion Patacas (£124 million), The Casino Times has reported.
Through the property deal, the company will soon be able to press ahead with plans for a casino and for shopping facilities.
Karen Tang, an industry expert at Deutsche Bank AG, explained that 2015 is the earliest in which the completed facility can be expected to open, online poker players may be among those interested to learn.
In the UK, meanwhile, the Malaysian gambling group Genting confirmed recently that it has selected the Uxbridge-based Galliford Try to build a new £120 million casino and leisure complex in Birmingham.
The new construction will be known as Resorts World at the NEC.
